King Arthur's Biography
Welcome to my website and I hope you find whatever you are looking for. If you need anything relating to my classes, Bethany Track, or Bethany Football please do not hesitate to contact me ([email protected]). 2010-2011 is my 3rd year to be teaching and coaching at Bethany High School. I am a Bethany graduate (2003) and am extremely grateful to be back in a great school district with great parent, student, and administrative support.
After graduating from Bethany in 2003 I went on and attended Southern Nazarene University, where I majored in Science Education and played four years of college football for the Crimson Storm. I graduated from SNU in 2007 and began teaching and coaching at Bethany the next year. In my four years as a football coach at Bethany we have had two semi-final appearances (2007,2010) and have made the playoffs for four consecutive years. In football I serve as the special teams coordinator as well as the offensive line coach. I also enjoy being the Head Boys Track coach at Bethany. In my four years coaching track we won one regional track championship (2008) and went on to a 5th place finish at the 3A state track meet in the same year.
A little bit more on the personal side, I am very grateful to be married to my wife April. We were married in the summer of 2007 after we both graduated from college. April graduated from Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, OK, where she majored in psychology and human services, while playing four years of basketball for the Lady Eagles. April is now teaching and coaching in the Mid-Del School District in the Oklahoma City Metro Area. In addition to both loving our profession as educators and coaches, April and I have a great love for traveling. We have the lifetime goal to travel to all 50 states as well as go to many of the major theme parks in the United States. We are avid lovers of roller coasters and theme parks. As a physics teacher, I enjoy riding and analyzing something that can teach so much physics to students. Be sure to check out my page on "Roller Coaster Rankings" located under the "King Arthur's Thoughts" tab at the top of this page.
In addition to my love of roller coasters I also enjoy reading. You can see what I am currently reading by looking at the "What's Reading" page, also located under the "King Arthur's Thoughts" tab.
